Using Gravitars to Brand Your Online Discussions
Gravitars or globally recognized avatar are useful visual icons that represent you when you comment on a blog article on any website that is gravatar enabled.
Anyone can create a unique gravitar profile via the Gravatar website. The profile is linked to your email addresses (you can add more emails) so that when you visit a website and make a comment your universal gravatar icon and information is displayed next to the comment.
When participating in blog comments, or online discussions, small businesses can use gravatars as a chance to brand themselves in the conversation. You can easily personalize your comments with your photo or alternatively, you could use your logo, further putting brand recognition to your comments.
