1. Peace Out! I’m Moving!

Over the last few months as I take on more and more responsibility with my job I’ve come to realize that Port Angeles is killing me. As towns go, its a great place… well, if you are 30 or older, married and have kids. However if you are like me, a young professional, its difficult to have much of a social life.

Recently the decision was made to move on to greener pastures and I’ve decided to move with my friend to Oak Harbor. There are more social and business opportunities available to a Yuppie like me in Oak Harbor than on the Olympic Peninsula.

The company is going put me up in an office so my work will continue as-usual, just from a different location than I’ve worked for the last 5 years. I’m excited for the change and feel that this will be the boost I need to continue building the company into a stronger, more agile development company.

Oak Harbor was the natural choice for me considering my family lives there, and because Forest was already planning on going there to work for my Dad in his electrical company: Blue Mountain Electric.
