2010 hasn’t really been a good year for the movies. There have been a creative movies so far, like: She’s Out of My League, Kick-Ass and Get Him to the Greek, however in general most have been a disapointment further demonstrating the lack of creativity in Hollywood. Despite this fact, I’ve chosen a few movies that I think will make the summer bearable.
Winnebago Man
Many of you will recognize his clips from Youtube as the “angriest man alive”. This documentary looks like a fun adventure.
Scott Pilgrim Vs The World
Creative story and visuals & casting. Let’s hope it doesn’t turn out to be just a great trailer.
Dinner for Schmucks
Sorry, can’t pass this one up. It’s going to be amazing. Steve Carell plays these types of rolls perfectly, and Paul Rudd is the perfect actor to play off Carell’s idiocy.
Red
The only action movie on my list. It’s a bit cheap, but it looks interesting and a great DC comics movie. The cast looks awesome and the comedy / action mix should be great.
The Green Hornet
I’m apprehensive of this one. However, Seth Rogan has really become quite the actor playing many different rolls and has yet to disappoint me.
